Lake Cuyamaca Rules and Regulations

Absolutely no wood fires are allowed at Lake Cuyamaca. This rule is strictly enforced!
LAKE
No swimming or body contact with the lake
No waterskiing. No jet skis. No paddleboards.
FISHING
Do not leave fishing line behind. Fishing line is hazardous to our bird and wildlife population. There are receptacles for your old fishing line in several locations around the lake.
BOATING
No wake, please! We are a no-wake lake.
Remain within buoys. No fishing from pedal boats. All boats must be inspected by a ranger before being launched.
DOGS
Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times.
Dogs are not permitted in the water. Please pick up after your dog.
DRONES
Lake Cuyamaca is a no-drone zone. No exceptions.
